Why Private Road Testing Is Better
Getting behind the wheel for your first driving exam can be nerve-racking. With public testing sites you face unpredictable wait times, unfamiliar examiners and traffic you’ve never driven in before. Our private road-test service puts you in the driver’s seat using a vehicle that you are familiar with and a face you have probably already met.
What You’ll Experience
When you book with 10 and 2 Traffic School:
- A one-on-one driving exam with a friendly, state-certified examiner.
- No surprises or long lines: your appointment time is your test time
- Instant feedback so you walk away knowing exactly where you excelled and what to refine
How to Prepare
Even though the setting is more relaxed, you still need to arrive ready:
- Bring your learner’s permit, proof of identification and any required paperwork.
- Review your left/right turns, straight-in-parking, straight line backing and three-point turns on local streets.
- Practice driving in varied conditions—daylight, busy intersections and basic highway merging.
- Get a good night’s sleep and arrive 10 minutes early to settle your nerves.
Your Road-Test Checklist
- Valid Florida learner’s permit
- Current (valid) vehicle registration and proof of insurance (if using your own POV)
- Glasses or corrective lenses (if needed)
- Sunglasses—for Florida glare
